The walls of this swimming pool were broken by many
windows and so a trompe l'oeil treatment was not appropriate.
It was given a stylised subtle misted monochromatic treatment
with bull rushes, grasses, leafless trees and dragonflies and
a scene of a bridge over a lake at one end.
The colourwashed background gently fades out onto the
sloping ceilings
Here the mural continues over a flush door . The branches
of the willow tree also cross the glass block window.
